WOPR 97 combines many of your favorites from WOPR 95 and the WOPR 95 Plus Pack, including Enveloper, 2 x 4, Startup, and much more. We're also bringing back the WOPR File Manager (to make Word's file management better than WordPerfect's), and implementing a bunch of new features that will have the folks in Redmond going, "AHHHH!" WOPR ENVELOPER

Replace that wimpy Word 97 envelope printer with an industrial-strength one-click wonder! Enveloper is perhaps the fanciest AND most useful Word for Windows macro on the Planet while remaining both powerful and easy to use. Print logos/graphics and notes on your envelopes. Maintain multiple customized envelopes. Each envelope may be customized for a different situation: envelope size, return address, note, logo, fonts, etc... Look up an address from within Enveloper. A quick button-click and Enveloper consults the Scheduler or the address book of your choice.

WOPR TWO-BY-FOUR (2X4)

WOPR's "Two-by-Four" or 2X4 is a Word add-in with multi-page printing features: Duplex, 2Up, 4Up, TriFold Pamphlet, Greeting Cards, Thumbnails and Booklet printing. The multi-page printing options in 2X4 can save reams of paper and there's even an option to save toner; save 25%, 50% or 75% of the toner a regular document page would require. 2X4 squishes like no other because it maintains your formatting. You can go in and manually balance pages, or just let 2X4 do its thing, and arrange things automagically. Print front-and-back "duplex" without an expensive duplex printer. 2X4 works in the background, so you can go do something else while the squishing machine takes over.

WOPR FILE MANAGER

WOPR File Manager is a Word 97 add-in that allows you to manage your document files without leaving Word for Windows. Using the WOPR File Manager you can Open, Copy, Move, Rename, Delete and Print your documents all from one dialog. Additionally, you can change file attributes, make new folders, preview a file's contents and summary information (before you open the file), and jump to commonly used subdirectories with a quick click of your mouse.

WOPR FILE SAVE AS

The WOPR File Save As dialog allows you to quickly save your documents to one of your Cubbyholes and adds the ability to create new folders just before saving your documents.

WOPR FILE NEW

Keep track of templates, using full descriptions. Stick documents in the right directory, first time. Ever wonder what the difference is between LETTER.DOT, LETTER1.DOT, LETTR.DOT, and LETR.DOT? Word's File New dialog doesn't give you a clue. WOPR's File New lets you: Create meaningful, plain English names for your templates like 'Personal Letters', 'Department Memo' or 'Master Contract'. Assign new documents to specific subdirectories of your choosing. Force new documents to be saved upon creation (option). Create a 'file name mask' for naming new documents on a template automatically with incrementing numbers and/or special extension (option). Great for auto-numbering invoices and other documents. For example, you can assign "Short Form Invoices" to your INV.DOT template and indicate that all new Short Form Invoices should be stored in C:\WinWord\Invoice\Shortfm, each with a unique name. The next time you need a Short Form Invoice, choose New from the File menu and pick Short Form Invoices from the list. It's that simple.

Produces a "splash" screen upon starting of Microsoft Word which allows you to choose from a host of options including - running the WOPR File Manager, running WOPR File New, opening a file from Word’s Most Recently Used File List, creating, running, or editing a macro, running a wizard with WOPR Run Wizard creating an envelope using the WOPR Enveloper, or just starting with a blank document based upon the global template.

WOPR RunWizard

A quick and easy alternative for running all of your favorite Wizards. WOPR Run Wizard searches Word’s \template folder and all of its subfolders (or you can chose a different folder to search) for Wizards and creates an ordered list of all currently available Wizards. WOPR Picture Tools

You have the ability to rotate graphics to any angle desired, mirror and flip graphics horizontally or vertically (this feature is great for creating images for iron-ons which need to be printed onto the iron-on patch in an opposite orientation), crop or scale your graphics to any size, or create device independent bitmaps (BMPs) or windows metafiles (WMFs) out of any selected graphic. With WOPR Picture Tools you even have the ability to create a graphic out of any text you desire. Just select the text that you want to create a graphic out of, fire up WOPR Picture Tools, and voila you’ve just created a graphic out of your favorite text.

WOPR Copy Bitmap Tool

A screen capture utility that lets you use the left mouse button to drag a rectangle *anywhere* on the screen and create a bitmap out of the selected area in the clipboard.

WOPR Lookup Zip+4

Utility for looking up ZIP+4 codes from the United States Postal Service (USPS) Web Site. Have you ever sent off a letter only to have it returned due to no ZIP code or an incorrect ZIP code? Have you ever wondered what the ZIP code for a particular city was or just wanted to find the ZIP+4 code for your own or someone else’s address? Well wonder no more, WOPR Lookup ZIP+4 comes to the rescue! WOPR Lookup ZIP+4 is a unique "ZIP Finding" utility that was designed to run exclusively from within Word. Simply enter an address (or partial address) into your document, fire up WOPR Lookup ZIP+4 and it will automatically grab the address, start your Dial-Up Internet Connection, retrieve the correct ZIP+4 code, and insert it into your document. WOPR Lookup ZIP+4 will even automatically disconnect from your Internet Provider after a set amount of time or you can choose to remain connected. WOPR Lookup ZIP+4 has also been hooked into Enveloper’s "Find Zip" buttons for easy access.

WOPR Stellar Thesaurus– a right-click wonder that gives you instant access to synonyms, antonyms, alternative meanings, and related words.

WOPR Toolbar Toggler/Switcher

Installing WOPR 97 adds a WOPRToolbar Toggler button to your standard Word toolbar (Note: you may have to reposition the button if you are using 640 x 480 screen resolution). The button toggles the WOPR/Lil’WOPR Toolbars between hidden and displayed states conserving valuable desktop work space that would normally be taken up by the toolbars. A WOPRToolbar Switcher button is added to the bottom of your WOPR/Lil’WOPR Toolbars. The button switches between the WOPR Toolbar and the Lil’WOPR Toolbar allowing you to have two toolbars which take up the space of only one. You can reposition either one of the WOPR Toolbars anywhere on your desktop (docked or floating) and the other toolbar will follow it to the same position.

WOPR SuperSub

WOPR SuperSub makes super- and sub-scripting SMART! WOPR SuperSub speeds up super- and sub-scripting in three easy ways. First, it assigns super- and sub-scripting commands to your right-click context menus for quick and easy access.
