You'll need a few files and an autoexec.bat and config.sys file. In your autoexec.bat place the following line: a:MSCDEX.EXE /D:MTMIDE01 /M:10 For you config.sys use the following lines: DEVICE=a:\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=a:\emm386.exe DEVICE=a:\MTMCDAI.SYS /D:MTMIDE01 Your last device line may differ according to your CD ROM mfg. Place the following files on your startup disk: emm386.exe himem.sys (emm386.exe and himem.sys can be found in your Windows or Windows\Command folder) mscdex.exe mtmcdai.sys (May be different for your mfg) mtmcdai.386 (May be different for your mfg) edit.com (used to edit if necessary) These files should allow you to boot with a floopy and have it recognize your CD ROM. Again, your CD drivers may be different (I use a mitsumi cd)
